Bitter defeat for "Giovanni Zarrella Show": ARD film clearly defeats the ZDF hit show

On Saturday evening, the "Giovanni Zarrella Show" ran again on ZDF.
Despite numerous invited hit stars like Andrea Berg, the show could not catch up with the ratings win.
The winner was a film that was shown in the first.
Offenburg – Giovanni Zarrella has just received the German TV Award for “Best Individual Performance/Moderation Entertainment” for his program on ZDF.
In September 2021, he made his much-anticipated debut hosting a major Saturday night show.
On November 5th, the moderator presented his show for the fifth time - without audience favorite Hartmut Engler with his band "Pur.
The singer had to cancel at short notice.
Giovanni Zarrella gets good odds - but not the best
Andrea Berg, who was mocked by the ZDF viewers, Ben Zucker, Ireen Sheer and Kerstin Ott are just a few of the Schlager greats who were guests.
Stefan Mross and Anna-Carina Woitschack were not part of the hit show.
This time Giovanni Zarrella invited to the show named after him live from the Baden Arena in Offenburg.
But despite the star line-up and varied program, the presenter did not manage to give ZDF the ratings win.
Around 3000 visitors followed the ZDF entertainment show live on site.

As with the two previous editions in February and April, an average of just under four million viewers watched this time:
To be precise, there were 3.91 million people.
That was enough for a good market share of 15.9 percent, but not for the best ratings of the evening.

For the fifth edition of his ZDF show, which started in September 2021 as the successor format to "Welcome to Carmen Nebel", Giovanni Zarrella once again brought together all sorts of well-known stars from Germany and abroad.
The 44-year-old welcomed well-known musicians as guests, including Ben Zucker, Andrea Berg, Santiano & Nathan Evans, Adriano, Peter Maffay, Linda Teodosiu, Marina Marx, Blue, Ireen Sheer, The Kelly Family, Ronan Keating, Kerstin Ott and Maite Kelly , Alexander Eder, Johannes Oerding, Kim Fisher, Ramon Roselly, Zeynep Avcı and Vanessa Mai.
ARD wins ratings
The clear victory went to the ARD.
At 8.15 p.m. the first part of the crime thriller “Hard Brocken: Survival Training” was shown.
The film attracted 6.09 million people to their screens and thus had a market share of 23.0 percent.
So no chance for Giovanni Zarrella.

But he should be quite happy with his odds!
Andrea Berg made headlines on the “Giovanni Zarrella Show”.
She wore a bright yellow dress, which caused discussions on the internet.
