It is understood that the victim suspected that the wallet had fallen into the roadside ditch, so he picked up two triangular canal covers each about 1.5 feet in size, but lost his balance and fell into the ditch.
A security guard who was about 30 meters away from the canal at that time was shocked and called the police.
The source said that when the rescuers arrived after receiving the report, they found the victim submerged in the water of the ditch, and immediately rescued him and sent him to the hospital; after that, they used the tools to clear the water in the ditch, and only then did they find the owner's wallet.
While the victim was holding the wallet, the "Upside Down Onion" fell into a 2-meter deep canal and died.
