Ron DeSantis is a man in a hurry.
Much more in a hurry than the other Republican city councilors campaigning on Tuesday during the midterm elections (“midterms”).
The outgoing governor of Florida was re-elected with a margin of nearly twenty points (59.4% of the vote) which would make his co-religionists green with envy, entangled in ballots much tighter than expected.
By crushing his Democratic opponent, Charlie Crist, he sends a double message to the GOP (Grand Old Party, Republican): this
"red wave"
not found in the rest of the country, has swept over Florida.
And if anyone doubts the touchy leadership of Donald Trump, after the failure of several of his proteges, perhaps they should take a look at the "brand" DeSantis.
