The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the operations of its forces during the past 24 hours resulted in the destruction of command centers and weapons depots for the Ukrainian forces, in addition to the downing of a helicopter and 5 marches.
Ministry spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov said in a press briefing today that the Russian air defense forces shot down a Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter in the Nikolaev region and destroyed five drones in the Kherson and Kharkov regions, in addition to intercepting 25 HIMARS rocket launchers, and two shells from Olkha, and three Harm anti-radar missiles.
Konashenkov stated that the Russian army destroyed a Ukrainian military depot, in the area of the city of Dnepropetrovsk, containing shells for the Hemars and Olkha rocket launchers, in addition to artillery ammunition.
He pointed out that more than 60 Ukrainian soldiers were eliminated on the Kobyansk axis in the north of the Lugansk Republic, and about 100 soldiers and mercenaries on the Krasnyi Lyman axis in the north of the Donetsk Republic, in addition to more than 80 soldiers on the southern Donetsk axis.
He pointed out that Russian forces thwarted 12 infiltration attempts by Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups to Krivoy Rog Nikolaev in Kherson, while the total losses of Ukrainian units on this axis amounted to about 110 soldiers.
Konashenkov stated that the operations of the Russian army resulted in the injury of two command posts of Ukrainian forces and foreign mercenaries in the Kharkov region, in addition to 59 artillery units in firing positions and troops of military equipment in 181 regions.
According to Konashenkov, since the beginning of the special military operation, 332 Ukrainian combat aircraft, 172 helicopters, 2,470 drones, 388 anti-aircraft missile systems, 6,482 tanks and other armored vehicles, 885 rocket launchers, 3,564 pieces of field artillery and mortars, and 7,152 special military vehicles have been destroyed.
