Kirill Stremoussov was born in 1976 in the Ukrainian region of Donetsk, currently partly occupied by the Russian army.
His death comes as several Moscow-appointed executives have been the target of attacks in recent months, sometimes fatal, attributed by the Kremlin to Ukrainian intelligence operating behind enemy lines.
