Mistrust is in order.
On Wednesday, the Russian military announced that it was beginning to withdraw its forces from the city of Kherson, taken just days after the invasion of Ukraine last February.
The information was staged in a video where Sergei Surovikin - appointed in October at the head of the "special military operation" - suggests to the Minister of Defense, Sergei Shoigu, to "move the defenses to the left bank of the Dnieper”.
Assuring that it is “not an easy decision”, he specifies that it is taken to “save the lives of the troops” but also to “free some of the soldiers” in order to redeploy them elsewhere.
"Start the withdrawal," replied the minister.
In the process, this Thursday, the army claimed to have begun the withdrawal of its troops from the right bank to the left bank of the Dnieper.
