Ukraine: Cherson after the withdrawal of the Russians

Upon arrival in Kherson, the Ukrainian soldiers were greeted by a euphoric crowd. Townsfolk hugged the troops, gave them flowers and partied into the night.

Barely a week later, on November 9, Russia ordered the withdrawal of its troops from the west bank of the Dnieper.

It is the start of the Ukrainian recapture of Kherson.
