Police officer Afik Toibi
, who was accused of murdering his roommate Naim Madi, continues to deny the crime of murder - but today (Sunday) he confessed to the other crimes attributed to him in the indictment, which are not against the deceased.
Ullman, the offense of the indecent act against another police officer, which was attributed to him, was changed to an assault offense. Following the settlement and at the request of District Attorney Ronen Yitzhak, the panel of judges Yechiel Lifshitz, Galit Ziegler and Shmuel Mandelboom recorded the confession and at the end of the proceedings, Toibi will be convicted of threats, assault and multiple offenses of recklessness and negligence.
His trial for the crime of murder with indifference attributed to him - will continue.
Moreover, the judges allowed the family of the accused to talk to him - and the relatives of the murdered Maddy attacked: "The more nobility we show, the more they trample us and our feelings. They don't deserve it. We can no longer talk to our son."

In March of last year, an indictment was filed against Toibi, alleging the crimes of reckless homicide and obstruction of justice in regards to the incident that caused the death of the late Madi, as well as nine additional charges, the main of which are dangerous crimes and acts of recklessness and negligence with a weapon.
In two of these charges, the defendant was also charged with assault and an indecent act against police officers in the company.
Toibi was accused of shooting to death Naim Madi and then trying to disrupt the scene of the murder and claim that Naim committed suicide.
At first, the police charged Toivei with the crime of careless death. Following a petition to the High Court by the bereaved family, which was represented by lawyers Sharon Zaggi-Pinchas, and Efrat Nachmani-Bar, the indictment was amended to murder with indifference.
