A serious car accident occurred in Yuen Long last Monday (7th). Wei Zai, a 14-year-old boy surnamed Peng, was hit by a private car and flew more than ten meters away from Huishawei on Castle Peak Road while walking after dinner.
After several days of investigation, the police arrested the 28-year-old male driver, his girlfriend and an accomplice involved in the case. The police revealed that the driver had a gang background and did not have a driver's license. He was also wanted for a dangerous driving case in July 2021. According to sources, the male driver is currently unemployed and the vehicle involved was purchased from the owner.
