A fatal car accident occurred on Tuen Mun Highway. At 11:57 this morning (19th), the police received a report that a medium-sized truck transporting tablecloths was driving along the Castle Peak Road-Lam Lot section towards Siu Hong, when it reached the Lam Tei intersection During the intermission, it was reported that he lost control and slammed into a stone wall in the road and two road signs before turning over.
The 18-year-old female passenger was thrown out of the car and fell into a coma after being crushed by the cargo bucket. The 21-year-old male driver climbed out of the car by himself, leaving about 10 meters of scratches on the road.
A large number of police officers, firefighters and ambulancemen rushed to the scene for rescue, but it was confirmed that the female passenger died on the spot; while the male driver suffered shoulder and foot injuries and was bedridden and sent to the hospital for examination.
After the accident, police officers were on the scene directing traffic and investigating the cause of the accident.
According to the news at the scene, the female deceased and the male driver were in a relationship.
After the cargo overturned, the 18-year-old female passenger was crushed to death by the cargo bucket, and the police covered the body with a green tent.
