On the occasion of one year since the re-launch of the Syrian-Indian Center of Excellence, the National Authority for Network Services honored 25 male and female trainees who obtained the first place during the courses they followed within the center throughout the year, in the building of the Syrian Telecommunications Company in Damascus.

The Chargé d'Affaires of the Indian Embassy, ​​Aski Yadef, told SANA reporter that these courses were completed, according to studied standards, and that his country provided all the necessary equipment and equipment in addition to 3 expert trainers, while 6 Syrian trainers were dispatched to India to be experts.

The Director General of the National Authority for Network Services, Dr. Wassim Al-Junaidi, indicated that the courses included the field of cybersecurity and digital transformation, indicating the importance of encouraging the trainees and urging them to persevere and work more.

For his part, the director of the center, Iyad Darwish, stated that the center has implemented 16 training courses in the fields of “cybersecurity, programming languages ​​and the web.” The number of graduate trainees who have obtained certificates has reached 168 trainees since the beginning of this year, and there are currently 400 trainees within the scope of training to obtain the certificate.

In turn, the head of the training department at the center, Lama Mohameh, said: The establishment of qualitative courses in the field of information technology encouraged me to be one of the trainees as well, as I obtained a certificate in network security, penetration tests and information auditing, noting that what is distinguished in the courses held is that most of the trainees are non-specialists who were able To prove their competence in this field.

A number of the honorees expressed their appreciation to those in charge of the center, as Suad Al-Qadisi, Sarah Al-Khatib and Ali Hassan indicated that the honoring is an encouragement for students to continue in this field, given that the global trend today is towards information security.
