A drunk Mercedes driver from Düsseldorf was stopped on the A57 in Cologne.
His right front tire had burst earlier and he was riding on the rim.
Cologne – The chaos drive of a 48-year-old from Düsseldorf ended on Saturday evening on the A57.
The man had driven through Cologne in his Mercedes A200 and noticed a witness.
After a collision with a traffic island, his front tire burst.
Only on the rim the drunk man drove onto the highway.
The police stopped him there.

The Mercedes of a 27-year-old woman from Cologne had already been noticed in downtown Cologne.
When she saw the car from Düsseldorf snaking in front of her and crashing into a traffic island on Victoriastrasse, she called the police.
Shortly thereafter, the right front tire of the Mercedes driver burst on Kyotostrasse.
But that didn't stop the man from driving onto the A57 anyway.
Shortly after driving onto the Autobahn, the front tire is said to have come loose from the rim and thrown against the witness' car.
The 48-year-old didn't care about it, but just continued on the rim until the police arrived on the A57.
The man was stopped at the level of the picture stick.

"The police officers seized his driver's license and ordered a blood test after a positive breath alcohol test.
The Düsseldorfer had to leave his accident-damaged sports car on site," the police said on Monday.
A drunk caused chaos in Cologne last Thursday (December 8).
The Porsche driver caused several accidents before he was stopped by the police near Neumarkt.
