On Sunday, the Belgian and Swiss models of active assistance in dying were presented to the 185 citizens drawn by lot. Very cutting questions emerged from the beginning of this reflection.

After a very institutional launch on Saturday, the 185 citizens drawn by lot got to the heart of the matter without jargon.

"Euthanasia"

, the word was in everyone's head but had not been pronounced on the first day of the Citizens' Convention on the end of life, launched on Friday by Elisabeth Borne.

But from Saturday, very direct questions about the end of life resonated in the impressive hemicycle of the Palais d'Iéna, at the CESE (Social and Environmental Economic Council), in Paris.
