At the end of an undercover operation, the police managed to stop the kidnapping of a Palestinian who was held for four days in Umm al-Fahm.
The police began an investigation four days ago, upon receiving a report from a Palestinian resident that his father was kidnapped from the Rosh Ha'Ain area, apparently due to a business dispute between contractors, when his family members received a demand for a ransom payment of hundreds of thousands of shekels.

The police officers arrested several suspects, residents of Umm al-Fahm, as well as the vehicles that were allegedly used for the kidnapping, when the court extended their detention in accordance with the needs of the investigation.
As the investigation developed, the police managed to arrest and interrogate a large number of suspects, in accordance with the investigation plan, and began building a profile of all those involved in an attempt to locate influential factors.
A special team for the subject of kidnappings began working in an attempt to make contact with those involved while using technology.
As mentioned, this evening, at the end of a special operational activity, the abductee, a resident of the territories about 60 years old, was located and brought to the police station along with the arrest of those involved, with the aim of exhausting the full severity of the law.
