Ironically, an 87-year-old senior who was walking home from the cemetery with a walker was targeted by a brazen thief in Bichl.
The police are investigating.

- A senior citizen from Bichl became the victim of a thieving beggar on Thursday afternoon.
The 87-year-old was alone with a walker on her way home from the Bichler cemetery at around 3:30 p.m. when she was approached by the unknown man on Ludlmühlstrasse.

According to the police, he complained to her that he was from Romania, that he was in need and that he had no work, no food and no money.
Out of pity, the woman from Bichler decided to give the stranger some money and took out her wallet.
The perpetrator immediately took advantage of this opportunity, snatched the recognizable bills (45 euros) from the compartment of the open purse and put them in his pocket.
The stranger then simply left his victim, who was surprised by this, and walked away towards the village.

Out of shame, the 87-year-old told her daughter about the brazen theft later that evening.
So it wasn't until the next morning that it was reported.
The perpetrator is described as follows: 40 to 50 years old, about 1.70 meters tall, stocky figure, dark hair, no beard, dark complexion.
He was wearing a dark suit.
The man spoke broken German, according to the pronunciation he comes from Eastern Europe.
