The head of the Iranian Aerospace Industries Organization, Hassan Salari, announced the start of implementation of the Iranian space strategic program for a period of ten years, in cooperation with active actors and effective security institutions in the field of space industry in Iran.
Salari noted the importance of this program for the development of infrastructure, launch bases, ground stations, and the design of wireless communication systems and satellites, pointing out that the objectives of the program are to develop international cooperation to implement joint projects to expand infrastructure and launch heavy-duty satellites.
Salari said, "Iran, in accordance with this program, and by benefiting only from the internal capabilities and Iranian specialists, will become a regional center that provides satellite launch services during the next ten years."
