The Criminal Security Branch in Hama governorate arrested the murderer of Mr. Abdul Aziz Al-Qasim, the principal of Abdul Moeen Qatrmaz School.
And the Ministry of the Interior said in a statement today: “On 4-1-2023, news was received from Al-Hamidiyah Police Station in Hama that the director of Abdul Moein Qatrmiz School in Al-Qusour neighborhood entered the medical center to receive treatment, after he was stabbed several times, and he died two days later of his wounds.”
The ministry added: “Through follow-up and careful investigation, and in coordination between the aforementioned police department and the Criminal Security Branch, the patrols of the Criminal Security Branch in Hama were able to arrest the murderer on 1-7-2023, and it was found that he was named (Ghazi M.), born in 2007. During the initial investigation with him, he confessed. He entered the school with the intention of killing the victim, as he stabbed him several times, which led to his death.
The ministry indicated that investigations are still ongoing to uncover the circumstances of the incident.
