It has been a long time that shooting in the evening and at night in the Bedouin settlements in the Negev feels like an unusual phenomenon.
In many cases the shooting leads to feelings of frustration on the part of the residents.
The residents of the city of Rahat are not unusual in the landscape - they too have been crying out for a long time about the shooting.
But last weekend it seems that the red lines were also crossed.

During Saturday night there was a shooting that lasted several minutes in the neighborhood 20 Berhat.
After him, a 16-year-old minor was arrested with a loaded M16 assault rifle and ceramic cartridges. The minor, a resident of Rahat, was brought before the Be'er Sheva Magistrate's Court on Saturday night.
As expected, the arrest did not deter the hostile elements in the city.
On Saturday night and Saturday evening, gunfire was heard that lasted for long minutes in Harat, in some cases even more than 20 minutes in a row.

This morning the police also managed to get their hands on four suspects in the shooting.
And again, it appears that this is a conflict between the two clans - Albakhiri and Algilavi.
Later in the day they will appear before the Peace Court in Be'er Sheva.
Will the arrest of the suspects in the city stop the conflict?
In the city of Rahat they are not safe.
And they don't hide the conflict, so much so that the mayor initiated an attempt at reconciliation between the parties.
In a video he uploaded to the web, he explained the predicament and said that "we oppose the shooting that took place today, and stick to the silence."
He also noted that efforts are being made to resolve the conflict by local religious dignitaries and that a sheikh has been assigned to each clan with the aim of bridging the parties in the coming days.
