The police arrested three suspects yesterday (Friday) in the murder of the well-known contractor in Rishon Lezion last Thursday.
Tonight the police will ask the court to extend their detention.
As a reminder, on Thursday a well-known contractor in his 60s was killed in a shooting incident near the gas station on Maccabim road in the city.
He was taken to Assaf Harofeh Medical Center in a very serious condition and later the doctors had to pronounce him dead.
The documentation of the assassination shows a meeting between an unknown person and a contractor, at the end of which the suspect suddenly shot the victim who was trying to escape.

"When we arrived at the scene, we saw the injured man sitting in a car suffering from penetrating injuries to his body," said MDA paramedic Oded Shinkman, "we put him in an intensive care unit, gave him life-saving medical treatment that included dressings and administering medication, and evacuated him to the hospital when his condition was serious."
The police began an accelerated investigation of the circumstances of the incident and activated all the relevant measures and units, in order to reach the conclusion of justice with all those involved in the case.

In the meantime, the police managed on Friday afternoon to reveal the whereabouts of the main suspect in Ashdod and arrested him for questioning, at the end of which he was imprisoned. Along with the arrest of the suspect in the murder, the police arrested 2 other suspects - a resident of Rasheltz and a resident of Ashdod on suspicion of aiding the suspect after the act .
In accordance with the needs of the investigation and its findings, the investigators intend to bring the three suspects to a hearing at the Hasholom District Court this evening, with a request to extend their detention.
