There was an explosion in a house in Bochum on Tuesday evening.
It is not yet known whether there were injuries.
A person is missing.
Bochum – In Bochum-Linden (NRW) there is a large-scale operation on Tuesday evening: there was an explosion in a house.
The Bochum police confirmed
this when asked by
wa.de.
The entire building on Keilstrasse collapsed.
as reported by wa.de.
Further details are currently unclear.
"We are still under construction," the police said on Tuesday evening around 10:20 p.m.
Bochum: Explosion in the house – "at least one person is missing"
“We are in action with strong forces in Bochum Linden on Keilstrasse.
A building collapsed, probably due to an explosion," said the Bochum fire brigade on Twitter.
"Currently at least one person is missing," it said.
"The search for the missing person is currently being supported by rescue dogs from a rescue dog squadron."
Another injured person has already been treated by the ambulance service and is on the way to a hospital.
As of late Tuesday evening, it is not yet known how the explosion could have happened.
