As-Suwayda - SANA
As part of the celebration of the Arab Theater Day, the play “Dialogue of Silence” was launched, written and directed by Dr. Adham Al-Hajri, on the stage of the Palace of Culture in the city of As-Suwayda.
The play presented by the National Theater is inspired by the text “The Barricade” by the French writer “Jean Tardieu”.
The director, Al-Hajri, explained in a statement to SANA that the show tries to express the truth and the human being by highlighting the unmistakable language of physical and instinctive expression.
In turn, the head of the National Theater Department in As-Suwayda, director Rifaat Al-Hadi, pointed out that the show, despite its short duration, presented an experience of high creative value that takes multiple and diverse dimensions, and puts the viewer in front of deep and open intellectual possibilities.
The playwright and director, Ziad Kerbaj, saw that the work explores drama, and enters into the concept of experimentation in the creative sense to achieve an aesthetic goal, whether in terms of drama or in terms of what the actor wants as a person on stage, which gave aesthetics to the show.
The play was co-starred by Samer Azzam and Lujain Al-Hadi, in addition to Jawhar Shalghin, Rami Al-Qasim and Siraj Breik.
It is noteworthy that the play is shown daily at five in the evening until next Sunday.
