Former member of the Knesset Osanat Mark informed the Minister of Innovation and Science Ofir Akunis this evening (Wednesday) that she is giving up her position as CEO of the ministry.
It is believed that the announcement came because the appointment "did not go smoothly" at the Civil Service Commission, and Mark feared that she would not pass the threshold conditions at the Appointments Committee.
