Following his clean past and the lack of evidence, the 18-year-old was released by the court • On suspicion, he opened the bus doors by force and sprayed inside • There were no casualties in the incident

The violence on the roads:

an 18-year-old man from Jaffa was arrested today (Wednesday) on suspicion of forcefully opening the doors of a bus and spraying tear gas into it, this is because the bus driver honked at vehicles on the road.

The event, which took place in Jaffa, ended without casualties.

Despite the violent act, the court released the young man from custody.

"There was no indication that a person was injured by the gas that was sprayed inside the bus. This is a violent and thuggish act, but not one that justifies an extension of detention behind bars, taking into account his clean past and the evidence base," reasoned Judge Christina Hilo Asad.

At the hearing for the extension of detention at the Peace Court in Tel Aviv, the representative of the police, Sergeant Major Moshe Poistro, said that "it is a crime of assault, but there are no injuries.

There was an attempt to locate him, he was not located, and then he arrived the next day."

The suspect denied what was attributed to him, the defense attorney who asked for his release claimed that he was a student who graduated from a private school, without any criminal record, a positive student, a normative family and he did not resist arrest or search, did not run away and denies what was attributed to him.
