The Schlager star is currently on a road trip through Spain.
But when she stops in Barcelona, she is robbed by two unknown men.
In her Instagram stories, she tells her fans about the incident and the thieves' nasty scam.
"Sit with the police": pop star Michelle robbed on the street
"You don't believe it... I'm with the police," Michelle begins her latest Instagram story. "I was robbed. My handbag was stolen from the car," the pop singer continued. Michelle is still visibly shocked and obviously stunned by what is happening.
But how could this happen?

"I left the sliding door open because the dog was outside, on a leash with me.
But I was standing here in the doorway and then someone came and asked me what kind of cute dog that was," says Michelle in dismay.
"Of course I'm polite and what happens?
Meanwhile, distracting me, someone opens the driver's door - and I didn't realize it - and searches my passenger seat.
My purse was under the dog blanket so not obvious."
So while the pop singer was distracted, her handbag was stolen - including money, ID and driver's license.

Lucky in misfortune: Two helpful witnesses called the police for Michelle
Fortunately, there were two witnesses who saw the theft.
"First they thought that the two thieves belonged to me.
And then they realized that they didn't belong to me (...) and called the police for me," says Michelle, describing the situation.
One of the two gentlemen even accompanied the pop singer to the police station.
“Thanks again to the two lovely people who helped me.
Please always be careful when you're out and about," Michelle finally asks her fans.

It's not going any better for her hit colleague at the moment either.
Florian Silbereisen is now threatened with trouble: In Jürgen Drews' "Schlagerabschied" he deleted the word "Indians" from the cult hit "1000 and 1 Night (Zoom!)".
Its author Diether Dehm is now filing a criminal complaint.
