An unusual event in the north:
IDF soldiers rescued a boy this evening (Tuesday) from a minefield near Kibbutz Mitzer in Ramat Begolan.
A helicopter, the 669th and IHL units and other forces were launched to the scene of the incident. At the end of a complex operation, IDF forces rescued the 17-year-old boy from a minefield near the kibbutz.
After several hours of lying in the field, the boy was rescued safely and is now being examined by a military medical force.
At this point, it is not clear how the boy got to the minefield in the Golan Heights.
