Dozens of dead and a family that perished: the disaster of the earthquake in Turkey also met the Palestinians Israel today

Multinational tragedy:

In Ramallah it is reported that around 70 Palestinians have been killed so far in the earthquake in Turkey - Syria. Estimates are that the number of Palestinian deaths is expected to rise.

Out of the 70 Palestinians killed in the disaster, about 20 people died in the disaster in Turkey, while the bodies of 50 of the dead were recovered from the ruins in northern Syria.

The Palestinian Authority sent two emergency teams to assist in the rescue efforts.

Three people who were pulled alive from the rubble in northern Syria during the day did not survive, and were later pronounced dead.

Also, there are missing people who have not yet been contacted.

One of the families that perished in the earthquake is the Abu Jalhum family, which originates from the Gaza Strip.

All six family members, the father, mother and their four children.

The family immigrated from the Gaza Strip to Turkey 12 years ago in an attempt to get rid of the financial crisis and build a better life.

One of the nephews of the father of the family, Saif Abu Jalhum, who works as a doctor in a hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, said that the father tried more than once to emigrate from Turkey to Europe by sea, but this did not work, and in one of the attempts he was even saved from drowning.
