The Civil Defense Commission of the “Arab Scouts” Association in Lebanon announced that it had sent, in cooperation with the “Association for Human Development and the Environment,” a batch of in-kind aid donated by the people of Sidon, southern Lebanon, to those affected by the earthquake in Aleppo.
The Lebanese National News Agency quoted the association as saying in a statement: “We hope that this aid will contribute to healing the wounds of our people in Syria and help them face the repercussions of the devastating earthquake.”
Lebanese parties, forces and organizations continue to send aid convoys to Syria to provide relief to the victims of the earthquake, as an expression of solidarity and standing by the Syrian people.
