After death threats against his teacher, a high school student appears in Bordeaux

made death threats against a teacher

” in the presence of five witnesses two days earlier.

It appears from the investigation immediately opened by the Bordeaux national police that the victim, who filed a complaint the same day, had already filed one on January 26 after insults and outrages from the same individual, aged 18.

After this altercation, the professor was placed on sick leave until Monday, when he returned to his classrooms.

The high school student was notably placed in police custody for contempt and death threats against a public service officer.

According to Frédérique Porterie, the public prosecutor, the defendant "

largely minimized the facts

" before being brought for immediate appearance in the Bordeaux court.

Having exercised his right to prepare his defence, he was finally placed under judicial supervision with a ban on entering into contact with the victim and on appearing in Lormont.

He also has the obligation to check in every fortnight at the police station.

He will be judged on April 6 at 2 p.m.
