A day after the fatal shooting attack, Defense Minister Yoav Galant visited the scene of the attack on Hvara road this morning (Monday).
The Defense Minister said after the visit: "We are expecting complex days, maybe even difficult days, it could be here in Judea and Samaria, in the Jerusalem sector or in the Gaza sector."

Gallant noted that he instructed the security system to fully prepare and increase activity in the field.
Among other things, "capturing the terrorists who murdered Hillel Weigal Yaniv yesterday, and bringing them to court or to a cemetery, according to the development on the ground."

Also, following the riots in Hawara, Gallant called on the parties to calm down.
"There is no legitimacy and it is impossible to act from the gut, we must not under any circumstances allow a situation where people take the law into their own hands."
