So far, five members of the Knesset from the Likud faction have called for a halt to the legislation as part of the legal revolution.

The MKs are Yoav Galant, Yuli Edelstein, David Bitan, Avi Dichter and Eli Dellal. However, in the vote held in the Likud faction last week on the limited outline of the legal revolution, and on the law to change the composition of the committee for the selection of judges, the majority of the faction voted in favor of continuing the process, including The members of the Knesset who are calling for the legislation to be stopped. The four members of the faction who voted against were Dodi Amsalem, Danny Danon, Moshe Saada and Moshe Psal, and they voted against because they were opposed to softening the legislation. MK David Bitan responded to Gallant's statement to the media this evening: "As I said a number of times

ago Shavuot, we need to stop the legislation and enter into immediate negotiations and reach broad agreements. Reinforces the words of the members of the Defense Minister."

In order to pass the law, 61 Knesset members are needed, because it is a fundamental law.

At this point, the only ones whose vote is in doubt are only Dichter, Edelstein and Gallant, because Delal and Bitan said they would obey factional discipline and vote in favor, even if the legislation is not stopped.

Coalition Chairman Ofir Katz said this evening in an interview with Channel 14: "Whoever does not vote for the reform this week, has ended his political career in Likud."

Communications Minister Shlomo Karai said in response to Galant's statement: "I ask for forgiveness from Likud voters for our Defense Minister giving in under pressure the left

The State of Israel is at a historical crossroads between democracy and dictatorship and its Minister of Defense chooses dictatorship and gives the wind to resistance and a military coup.

The people's decision is not canceled for the sake of being pampered by the media and the elite.

It is not democratic.

This must not be allowed."

MK Tali Gottlieb (Likud) said in response to Gallant's statement: "What do you think of the Minister of Defense?

Will they ever let you change the structure of the committee for appointing judges?

Will they ever let you dismantle the power games between the representatives of the bar association and the supreme judges on the committee?

They won't give it to you either tomorrow or the day after.

So what is this slackness and surrender?

Apparently, the flattery and caressing of the left is more delightful than you can imagine."
