Rust – For Stefan Mross (47), the previous year has been mixed: the marriage with Anna-Carina Woitschack (30) made headlines as well as the new relationship with Eva Luginger (35), his wife's former best friend.
The report then caused a stir that the folk musician had been convicted of assault in a hotel after physical assault in a crime with attempted coercion.
An incident that could have cost him the moderation of “Always Again on Sundays” – and also had to, as some angry viewers judge.

In May 2022, Stefan Mross made a serious mistake: because a hotel guest called him a "Schlagerfuzzi" and behaved intrusively, the trumpeter became violent.
The brawl did not go unpunished: the district court in Leipzig sentenced the 47-year-old to a fine, and the “Always Sunday” presenter is now considered a criminal record.

The ARD also dealt with the case and discussed Stefan Mross' "always on Sundays" future.
The moderator himself finally gave the all-clear, who commented accordingly via Facebook.
His home broadcaster, SWR, also confirmed
an amicable agreement with the 47-year-old to
dwdl.de : "Together with Stefan Mross, we discussed the facts and the background honestly, openly and on the basis of mutual trust and thus clarified them."

However, the matter is not off the table yet, because one or the other viewer considers the decision to keep Stefan Mross on “Always Sundays” to be wrong despite his misstep.
On an Instagram fan page of the ARD show, there is a heated discussion in the comments:
"I can't believe that this man is still allowed to present this show," complains one user, another demands: "You should really look for another moderator. "
Others consider a new cast to be overdue anyway: In the past season, the episode “the best” was of all things, which, due to illness, was not presented by Stefan Mross, but by Uta Bresan (58) and Bernhard Brink (70). A disappointed fan is even of the opinion that the hit star should "not get a show (...) anymore".

The new season starts on May 7th – maybe the moderator will then win back the hearts of some fans.
However, a recent report about Mross's most famous colleague caused a big surprise: According to a new ranking, Helene Fischer (38) is no longer the most successful German singer.
