"Unlike most projects where a quick glance is enough to understand the dominant style, the current project is full of twists, and subtle games between a wide spectrum of styles. Classic, modern, old, new, rustic, fusion, it gives the impression that everything is there in good taste, and in colors Refined with spotlights of color," explains Nirit Frankel, owner of Frankel Architecture and Interior Design in partnership with her mother Sarah.
This project was designed and built for a couple in their 60s, after the children left home.
They asked for a house that would fit their dimensions in the spirit of their current life, a house with utilized spaces, an experiential house, one that is pleasant to host both adults and the grandchildren who often come, a large kitchen, a pantry, an elevator, as well as a house that would contain the inspiring color scheme of the owner of the house.
They purchased a plot of land in one of the Sharon seats measuring half a dunam, the construction area includes a 300 square meter basement.

The project, as defined by Nirit Frankel, is a modern FARM HOUSE.
According to her, "We took the motifs of the farmhouse and incorporated a modern interpretation into it. Given the problematic nature of the lot and its small size, it was important to us to maximize the garden, so it was decided to implement a hydraulic pool, which when not in use is sealed in order to utilize the full area of the garden."
The architecture is a clear game of blocks.
A low block, a connecting block and a high block.
These keep growing as a sort of ladder.
The low block with the exposed roof, the central block where the entrance door and the work corner are located, this large block consists of two floors, one stone that creates a roughness and the upper one white and modern plaster.

The woman was very dominant in the project.
She is a colorful woman with a special and unusual taste, a woman who has everything and is the living spirit of the house.
Depending on its dimensions, the design and architecture are basically a combination of new and old.
On the one hand, the goal was to renew, and on the other hand, to assimilate the couple's taste and love for authentic, rough, classic, handmade design, and one that is not refined.
The combination is what created the special chic of the house.
when the architectural background is neutral.
The vibrant color is reflected in furniture and carpentry elements, and in points that fit into the various spaces of the house, for example a velvet burgundy sofa in the living room, a light blue dresser in the entrance, an island in denim blue, and more.
The mixing of styles is reflected in a classic marble fireplace, against a background of wall covering, boho chic wall frames, modern lighting fixtures, industrial air conditioning, a vintage sideboard, a rustic roof and many more examples.
This is a new and special interpretation.
The styles mix with each other.
This is a house that illustrates that it is possible to do both and maintain interest, color, and dosage, create curiosity, and at the same time create a home that is not boring, yet the architecture is firm and stable and the interior is easy to change.

When entering the house we meet a dominant and intriguing console.
A console that stands out in relation to all the clean and white design around it.
The handmade console, "aging" beautifully, looks like an element taken from a world-wide journey, when in fact it is another item purchased especially for the project.
By the way, the only element that was not purchased is the impressive service of the landlady, which is located inside a sideboard that you will write with the boho chic items around them.
The public space includes a living room and a dining area, it is a space dedicated entirely to entertaining.
No TV screens.
A space that includes a cozy fireplace, plenty of different and cozy seating systems, a wealth of materials and textiles that correspond with each other.

The kitchen is white, powerful and impressive and in the center is an island in the shade of jeans that gives a young, playful and rustic air.
The luxurious surface of the island is made of Carrara marble, which is also located on the kitchen work surface, and was chosen in a wild design that illustrates the veins of a stone.
Next to the kitchen is an incredibly comfortable and pleasant family corner, like the living room it also comes with sitting areas, this time informal and with pleasant colors and a TV screen for the grandchildren.
Upstairs is the owner's work area.
He wanted to create a warm and pleasant space to stay.
A clean, warm and inviting corner to sit in.
Forms an architectural bridge over the entrance.
The bedroom designed in the image of the owner of the house, with a very dominant bed back made of custom velvet, and handmade brass lighting fixtures with a boho chic design, together with a combination of wall covering with a low carpentry unit, an interesting plinth.
A closet corner nearby is very clean, and at the end you reach the bathroom where you meet a light blue dresser, a combination of copper and brass, and in the bathroom itself Carrara marble appears again, reminiscent of the kitchen.
The basement is actually the kingdom of the family and grandchildren.
A very pleasant space, far from feeling like a basement.
Includes a dominant carpentry wall combined with natural wood with pampering seating areas and a projector.

The garden was challenging and was designed so that it is full of cohesive functions in order to maximize the garden area.
In fact, at the exit from the living room and dining area, there is a pergola, where the main entertaining area of the house is located, with a dining table with a mosaic plate, and an outdoor kitchen, intimate seating areas.
We consolidated the functions, to leave as many green corners as possible around the house.
The pool is compact, a mosaic was chosen for it, which is an artistic puzzle assembled by hand.
