In town and in the countryside, petitions and demonstrations are multiplying to block the American giants.
One of these standoffs between local residents and fast food chains even caught the attention of

, because it takes place in a "so Frenchy" setting, on a square in the 20th arrondissement with its small restaurants and their terraces, opposite the Père-Lachaise cemetery.
But Burger King wants to settle here, in premises on the ground floor of a building.
I have no opposition in principle to fast food but in the neighborhood there are already a lot of them.
