The game show of the district hunting association will continue to be subsidized with 750 euros.

That was decided by the District Committee.

But there were discussions.

District

– The recipients range from the maintenance of customs and culture to sport: the district has 145,000 euros a year in so-called voluntary benefits and grants.

Most posts were now undisputed in the district committee that decides on the allocation.

At the Hegeschau, however, opinions differed.

The question of whether the district hunting association should be financially supported for the implementation caused discussions.

According to the hunting law, the district hunting association must bear the costs

In the past, the district had always subsidized the Hegeschau at the request of the district hunting association with 750 euros.

"But the legislature provides otherwise," said District Treasurer Gerhard de Biasio.

Conservation shows, where the number of kills are also presented, are compulsory events for which the hunting associations have to bear the costs according to the Hunting Act.

"We'll have to talk again," said Thomas Tomaschek (Greens).

The district hunting association, added parliamentary colleague Cornelia Riepe, is a “very solvent association”, the amount of 750 euros is the absolute pain limit.

Christine Negele (SPD) put it more clearly: "I don't see that we're paying anything here." The district should primarily support those who don't have their own funds.

"Range of guests really good this time"

The majority of the board saw it differently.

"The range of guests at the Hegeschau was really good this time," said Deputy District Administrator Jens Zangenfeind (FWG).

Among other things, Minister of Economics Hubert Aiwanger (FW) took part.

"The association tried to bring about an opening." The fact that the district supports these efforts is justified.

Miesbach Mayor Gerhard Braunmiller (CSU) underlined this: "The hunters should be able to continue like this." CSU parliamentary group spokesman Christian Köck wanted the subsidy to be understood as a "sign of appreciation and not an exaggerated gesture".

The district underscores the importance of hunting.

"Let's leave it as it was," said Martin Beilhack (BP).

Birds of prey sanctuary gets more money

The district committee had nothing to complain about the administration's proposal to increase the subsidy for the birds of prey sanctuary in Otterfing from 1,000 to 2,000 euros.

"It is an important facility that the district of Rosenheim also subsidizes with 2,500 euros," reported the district treasurer.

Because of the significantly increased costs in the feed area, the station is otherwise threatened with closure.

The committee approved the same amounts as in the previous year for the Miesbach Orchestra Friends and the Tewkesbury Association and thus rejected the requested increase of 1,000 and 500 euros respectively.

"We should keep some continuity," Biasio suggested.

A total of 142,485 euros distributed

Against Negele's vote, the committee approved the financial package.

The district is now distributing a total of 142,485 euros, thereby maintaining a small buffer.

According to the district treasurer, this is necessary if an urgent request is made to the administration at short notice during the year.
