The pilot
Alex Conci
, 27, died this Monday in a clinic in Córdoba as a result of a car accident suffered during the early hours of Sunday in that city, reported the Association of Road Tourism Corridors (ACTC).
Conci was admitted to the Emergency Hospital with severe head trauma and a perforated lung due to a rib fracture, after the incident that took place near the Mario Alberto Kempes World Cup stadium.
"Chucky" Conci, a native of the Cordoba town of Colonia Tirolesa, had been working in Class 2 of National Tourism since the 2021 season.
His beginnings in motorsport were in karting, a specialty in which he was twice champion of the TBR division (2004 and 2007) and Argentine monarch (2007).
He also raced in Formula Renault.
