A major
fire
is taking place this Monday at the
Iron Mountain
company warehouse in Barracas, the place where the tragedy that ended with 10 deaths in 2014 occurred.
As detailed by Buenos Aires Security sources, City firefighters arrived at the scene and entered the warehouse using a circular saw since it was
closed
, after placing a 51 mm line to attack the flames.
Once inside, the firefighters had serious difficulties in detecting the origin of the flames due to the large amount of smoke generated by the combustion.
"A crew is attacking from the intersection of Benito Quintela Martin and Azara and another attacks from the intersection of Gaspar Melchor Jovellanos and Benito Quinquela Martin," they detailed minutes before 3:00 p.m.
As detailed, the fire spreads through the roof and the amount of the deposit, in
an extension of 60 x 20 meters
in an irregular way.
