Munich – A car caught fire on the A99 near Allach.
When the Munich fire brigade responded on Saturday (April 29), they could see the smoke coming from the BMW from afar.
Before that, they had received several emergency calls.
Although the forces immediately tried to extinguish the car, it was a total loss.
According to the fire department, the two occupants of the BMW were apparently unharmed.

To protect themselves, the emergency services wore respirators.
In addition to this safety precaution, the fire brigade also reduced the driving speed on the A99.
This resulted in traffic restrictions between the Munich-West junction and the Allach tunnel.
The occupants of the BMW remained at the scene until their vehicle could be removed by a towing service.
