In his first season in the US category, each race represents a new challenge for him.
In fact, the fourth date at Barber was his first time on a road course with this class of single-seaters, after having participated in two street races and in an oval.
And, in that sense, beyond the fact that he did not achieve the best position (
quite the opposite, he finished second to last in 26th place
), he did achieve his main objective:
finish the 90-lap track.

Although it was improving as the tests ran, the reality is that the Titan failed to find the race rhythm at any time throughout the weekend.
And he went through everything: from the problems in free practice to the lack of timing to be able to understand the braking of the car on a totally new track that he did not know.
In addition, the difference in speed that the rest of the drivers on the grid had was noted.
In fact, he was even heard saying on a team radio that "
those in front go very fast"
.
The 33-year-old from Arrecife also did not succeed in the strategy with the Juncos Holliger Racing Team, since his teammate, Callum Ilott, who had received a cascade of insults on the third day of the championship, finished 13th.
The victory was in the hands of the New Zealander Scott McLaughlin, while Romain Grosjean, ex Formula 1, and Will Power completed the podium.
"We finished the race in Barber, it was not a great result in position, but the first part of the race was very good. We lost a few places at each stop and maybe the strategy was not the best, we did not choose the red tire that was the one that we had to use. But we finished the 90 laps and I did my best," said Canapino after the competition.
The next two races will be in Indianapolis.
With our sights set on the 500 miles on May 28, two Sundays before, the 13th, the Grand Prix of that city will be held, although on the road circuit.
