At least four people died in a shooting Sunday night in a community in the Mojave desert in California, 90 miles north of Los Angeles, according to Kern County authorities, who did not clarify the circumstances of the massacre.
Three of the victims, identified as men in their 20s or 30s, were found dead by police at the home with traumatic injuries, and another died at the hospital from gunshot wounds, according to the NBC station in Los Angeles.

The attack happened around 11:20 p.m. Sunday in the Mojave community, where about 4,000 people live.
Police were still collecting evidence at the scene on Monday morning, according to local station KGET, but no arrest warrants are known to have been issued.
Kern County, with nearly a million total residents, most of them Latino, has 35 homicides so far this year.
