Victoria Tolosa Paz obtained the support of different Kirchner personalities, close to Cristina Kirchner, for a statement repudiating "the disqualifications and grievances" against her, which the journalist Horacio Verbitsky transmitted in an article that he published through his website "The rocket to the moon".
The document entitled "40 years of democracy: Political violence no longer has a place in this society", and the minister obtained the support of K figures such as senators Juliana Di Tulio and María Inés Pilatti Vergara, the Buenos Aires Minister of Women, Estela Díaz, and her national peer, Ayelén Mazzina.
"Never more media and political violence against the women of Argentina," said Tolosa Paz, for her part, to thank "all the compañeras and compañeras who showed their solidarity and generalized repudiation of the disqualifications and insults I received from Horace Verbitsky".
The minister released the note through her Twitter account in response to the newspaper article "Peronist Apotegmas", published in ElCohete a la Luna, and warned that it "profoundly violates the democratic ideals and human rights of women."
"These types of actions do nothing more than consolidate and legitimize the structural conditions of inequality and violence for gender reasons, with the sole objective of silencing and limiting the role of women in all areas of society and especially in politics, which is the place where true transformations in society are built", the document highlighted.
In another paragraph of the message they expressed: "We repudiate these practices and we demand from the journalist and the medium their strongest apologies."
Sociologists Dora Barrancos and María del Carmen Feijoo, together with former senator Marita Perceval and national deputy Mara Brawer are other personalities linked to Kirchnerism who gave their support to the repudiation of the labels that Verbitsky appealed to in his note.
The journalist wrote about the resignation of Alberto Fernández from the attempt to seek re-election and immediately made reference to the Minister of Social Development as a presidential protégé: "And also his protégé, Victoria Tolosa Paz, summons Néstor Kirchner as a shield against his widow and his son".
But it did not stop there, in the same paragraph, Verbitsky mentions the possibility of Tolosa Paz competing in an internal one and states: "Defeated by La Cámpora in La Plata, Madame Albistur thinks big. Too big."
