Levin's speech at the right-wing demonstration proved: this is a truly frightening politician - voila! news

The Minister of Justice has already proven that he is a hopeless manipulator, but then came his threatening speech at the right-wing demonstration. From now on the judges are not only leftists and lovers of Arabs, but also rapists. This speech left dust at the level of incitement for Moro and Rabbi Netanyahu

For many years, the Minister of Justice, Yariv Levin, has enjoyed such a mysterious aroma - a politician who is relatively rarely interviewed: a loyal confidant of Benjamin Netanyahu who manages the coalition's burdens and conditions for him, a man who is known to have very extreme views on the justice system, but nevertheless, for some reason , was perceived by the public as a sane person, carrying classical values and the grandeur of the historic freedom movement.

The assumption was that however extreme Levin might be, he would not be wild, would not burn the club down on its occupants. Even here, in November of last year, after the elections and before the establishment of the government, I published an article that dealt with the question of who should be given the justice file, under the title: "Levin is more radical, Smotrich is more dangerous". It is not impossible that that article presented a false thesis. Today it is hard to imagine a politician in the Knesset, not even Simcha Rothman, who is more dangerous to Israeli democracy than an opponent Levin.

Too little has been written about Levin's speech at the demonstration a week ago, which we will get to in a moment.

It was a defining event in understanding the character of the Minister of Justice;

An event that finally proved that Levin is a truly terrifying politician.

Fear of God.

But let's start with some previous landmarks: after presenting his plan of destruction, Levin was interviewed once by all media outlets, since then he has stopped doing so except for one odd foray into sort of conversations with corporate scouts.

Levin did continue to be interviewed since then on his indulgence channel, Channel 14, where he is a rockstar.

The panelists cheer for him and he cheers for them.

During his interviews on the Pinok channel as well as several speeches in the Knesset, the unflattering truth about Levin began to emerge.

He repeatedly boasted in every interview that his reform plan was not born as a result of Netanyahu's legal entanglements, and mentioned that he has been working on it for more than twenty years.

Once, on the stage of a Knesset, his tongue betrayed him and the truth came out.

In response to one of the interim comments, he admitted that the Netanyahu trial did indeed make people wake up, that is, he admitted that the trial was an hour of fitness for him;

In other words, he admitted that Netanyahu's personal interest was the catalyst for changing Israel's regime.

At the point when the coalition realized that it had to demonstrate a "softening" of the plan, Levin said the following in one of his interviews on the Pinuk channel: "There was one claim," he said, "which in my eyes is a real claim. They come and say: with a coalition majority system, an unlimited number can be appointed of judges, we will find ourselves in a situation where a certain coalition, which anyway has control over both the government and the Knesset, will take over the Supreme Court in the same term, and bring about a situation where all three authorities will be turned into one authority. This claim is truly a claim that cannot be ignored, that such a thing cannot can exist in a democratic country, I think it should be heard, and therefore what we did, we said: we are responding to this concern, this right, to this."

Not since Archimedes jumped in the bathtub has such a dramatic "eureka" been heard.

Just as this text is self-evident to anyone who has learned citizenship in his life, it sounds so delusional when Levin presents it as some kind of enlightenment that suddenly hit him, and even after he says he has been "working on this plan for 20 years."

What did you suddenly find out Minister Levin?

that in Israel the Knesset and the government are the same?

didn't you know that?

Did you not know the method?

Didn't you know that there is really no difference between the executive authority and the legislative authority?

what did you discover

That if only the coalition appoints judges, then the judges will become part of the same legislative-executive authority, and then we will be left with one authority?

Did the demonstrators who took to the streets teach you what you did not understand in the twenty years of preparing the plan?

fantastic.

Well, one of two things: either something is wrong with Levin, or he is a hopeless manipulator.

Both possibilities are worrisome, especially in light of the fact that a few years ago, even before he was Minister of Justice, he said in an interview that if he had been given the power, he would have taken the judges of the Supreme Court into early retirement at the age of 67 - that is, fully adopting the model of Poland and Hungary.

Perhaps he also came up with this idea without the thought that he was turning Israel into a dictatorship creeping into his mind?

It is more likely that if he could he would do both this and that - throw out the incumbent Israeli judges, and from them in a coalition method full of his own judges.

Then came the terror speech, precisely at a time when the talks at the president's house were apparently progressing.

Levin stood in front of a cheering crowd, he probably felt like Michael Jackson in his prime;

Then, instead of understanding the responsibility on his shoulders when he stands in front of a supportive audience, he decided to use the stage and incite in a way that leaves dust even for his teacher and most of him in incitement and lies, Benjamin Netanyahu.

The speech began with the constant lie that "over two million people voted in the real referendum, the elections, they voted for legal reform", when in practice not only did the Likud not raise this "reform" in its platform, even he, Levin, did not raise it in media interviews.

The only one who dared to say things in the spirit of "reform" was David Amsalem, things that the Prime Minister made sure to disavow.

Who does not.

Immediately after he announced, thank you, that the court would have room for both liberals and conservatives, he announced in the same breath what the court would have to rule: "The time has come for a court that does not grant rights to the families of terrorists, that does not allow fake memorial ceremonies to be held together with supporters of terrorism."

Levin, of course, took advantage of the closeness of time between the Memorial Day ceremonies charged with the demonstration to mention the High Court's ruling to approve the entry into Israel of the Palestinians who requested to participate in the joint ceremonies with the Israelis as part of the "Forum of the Bereaved Families". He did this because he knew that the subtext would excite the public of the demonstrators - He hates Israel and loves terrorists.

It always works, it works in bass, it's good for his popularity.

I wish it would end there, it just gets uglier from paragraph to paragraph.

"I want to contact Rabbi Michaeli," said Yariv Levin, "and tell her: join us, so that we have a court that punishes rapists and does not look for a place to relieve them."

How much disgust and incitement lies in this sentence.

This paragraph probably corresponded with a very controversial decision, a few days before, by the Supreme Court judge, Khaled Kabob, to send a rape accused to a probation review, while making a puzzling statement that in the actions of the accused "there was no significant physical violence".

What is Levin's thesis?

That judges love rapists as much as they love leftists?

Like they like Arabs?

That they have some secret deal with the rapist population?

Maybe they themselves are rapists?

Maybe it's just that Kabob, because he's a Muslim Arab, gets along with an Arab rapist?

Because maybe Jewish rapists were never released in controversial decisions?

What exactly is the subtext?

How, Mr. Levin, did you manage to include this matter in your speech as well?

After all, you, like many in the political system,

Well, Kabob's decision, justified or wrong, is undoubtedly a decision in a seniorial spirit and not a lawsuit;

So how does this work out with the thesis?

It is not.

No big deal, let's just play on the primal and basic fear of every parent of rapists who will hurt their daughter.

If it's scary, then it's good, and to hell with a derogatory or pretentious thesis.

It is actually hinted in the subtext that the court is litigious except for rape matters, because he likes rapists and certainly Arab rapists.

This subtext of Levin proves more than any other text to date the fact that we have a brainwashed minister, saturated with hatred, such that he no longer makes an effort to beautify it with intellectual rhetoric.

Jerusalem Supreme Court (Photo: Reuven Castro)

It continued as expected with the elderly woman being attacked by the foreign workers in south Tel Aviv, with the message being of course that a court protects the attacking foreigners and not the attacked woman;

And why not, with the old, old thesis that the court "will protect the IDF soldiers, not the neighbors of the terrorists."

Levin's speech to the judges, the rapists' supporters, broke a record of humiliation. Whether he meant to or not, he became like one From the preachers of QAnon in the United States, who, according to their perception, the American Deepstate is also connected to some pedophilia network. Even if he did not aim there, it is certain that some of his listeners will already take it forward, because otherwise, you know, what reason would Kobov have to release that rapist?

Levin's speech and the body language that accompanied it finally revealed him as a man whose hatred has taken over him, and it seems uncontrollable.

This perhaps explains why Levin became the minister with the lowest productivity in the history of Israeli justice ministers, does not sign regulations, actually violates the rights of defendants and suspects, all with the hope that he might one day be able to fulfill his dream, to realize his uncontrollable hatred for the judges of the Supreme Court.
