There was a traffic accident between a pedestrian and an e-bike rider on the Pfarrer-Wiedemann-Weg in Seeshaupt.
According to the current state of investigation, the pedestrian was walking on the right-hand side of the road and was touched by the e-bike driver turning in, officials from the Weilheim Police Inspectorate reported.
As a result, the pedestrian fell and "was not insignificantly injured," says the police.
The driver stumbled slightly, but did not turn around.
He left the scene of the accident without stopping.
The officials already have information about the driver, and the investigation into the case is still ongoing.
Witnesses who can provide relevant information about what happened are asked to contact the Penzberg Police Inspectorate on 08856/92570.
"The polluter also has the opportunity to present himself there," the officials said.
