Charles was officially crowned king in London. Markus Söder reminisces about the Briton's visit to Bavaria - much to the amusement of his followers.
Munich/London - Charles III was officially crowned King on Saturday, May 6. The ceremony was apparently also followed by Bavaria's Prime Minister Markus Söder. "Long live the king," the CSU leader wrote on Instagram to several joint photos with the British monarch.
Söder congratulates Charles on the coronation - "Who is this Briton next to the king?"
"Congratulations to King Charles III on his coronation. I always like to think back to the visit to Bavaria – back then as Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla. Bavaria and Great Britain are partners and have been friends for a long time," Söder continued. "2 kings," one man amused himself in the comments. "King Maggus of Bavaria," said another, and a third jokingly asked, "Who is this Briton next to the king?"

"Now we've seen it all": Söder reaps criticism for Charles-Post - praise for wife
But - as is so often the case - some also criticized the post. "The main thing is that Mr. Söder puts himself in the limelight again. A little restraint would be appropriate from time to time." Another person felt the same way: "yes, now we've all seen it! It's great that you've already spoken to the future king." But there is also praise for the wife of the CSU chief, Karin Baumüller-Söder. "Mrs. Söder looks very elegant! Very nice costume, that's how good style goes."
