Despite Operation Wuambushu, presented by Paris as a plan to evict Comorians in an irregular situation in Mayotte and destroy illegal housing, it is intended to be constructive. "Raising the tone would be useless. We have to move forward in stages and find solutions. (...) I saw Emmanuel Macron last night (Monday, Editor's note) and I confirmed my desire to strengthen the historic relationship between France and the Comoros, despite the crisis and the dispute between the two countries. This is in the interest of France and the Comoros."
The man, however, is not naïve. This calm tone is as much one of interest as an experienced wise posture.
