A neighbor of Rosario called the police because on the roof of his house he had found a dead man. What began as a real mystery ended with the confirmation that it was a 22-year-old who had been electrocuted while trying to steal the engine of the air conditioning of the house.
The incident occurred during the last weekend in a house located on Calle 503-900, at the southern end of Rosario. It was during the morning that the owner alerted 911 to a strange noise on the roof of his house and the subsequent appearance of a dead young man.
The suspicion of the owner of the house, is that the man died trying to steal the engine of his air conditioner. Then, the police verified the presence of the body on the roof of the building and personnel of the Criminalistic Cabinet collected testimonies and carried out a photographic survey of the place.
Finally, the body of the young man was transferred to the Legal Medical Institute of Rosario for an autopsy.
Unsure Rosary: He went to buy vegetables for the barbecue and was shot dead
Mauro Augusto Villamil had organized a barbecue with his co-workers. At dusk, he went to the grocery store to complete the shopping; I wanted to have everything ready for the night. But when leaving the premises, he was shot dead by a man who shot at the premises and escaped with two accomplices. Mauro was 36 years old and the father of three boys.
According to the testimonies taken by the investigators, Villamil had just made purchases at the grocery store "La Vieja Esquina" and as soon as he left he was hit by the shots fired by a man who walked past with two accomplices.
Mauro Villamil was killed in Rosario when he left his home to buy vegetables for a barbecue.
He fell dead on the sidewalk, while three employees of the grocery store, aged 21, 34 and 50, were hit by bullets and were injured, so they were transferred by the ambulance of the Emergency Service (SIES) to different hospitals in the area.
The murdered man worked at a gas station in Rosario, had been married two months ago and had three children.
The investigators are trying to establish whether the shooting, which also reached the neighboring houses, was aimed at the commercial premises in which at that time there were more than ten customers.
