An indictment was filed last weekend against a 28-year-old resident of Tira on suspicion of stabbing his uncle.
The investigation, which was opened last week, revealed that the defendant complained about the victim's dog barking in his face, and in response, an argument arose between the parties. During the argument, the defendant put his body in the victim's vehicle, holding a knife, and began stabbing him. The victim abandoned the vehicle and fled home, from where he was evacuated for medical treatment and hospitalized for several days.
At this point, the defendant took his injured uncle's car and drove to the city center, where he abandoned the car and fled the scene.
The police said, "Searches carried out by the police officers led a short time later to the arrest of the suspect - a 28-year-old resident of the city. His detention was extended in accordance with the needs of the investigation and over the weekend an indictment was filed against him."
