The shuttle service, which has been operating for about four years, ended at the end of last month with the end of the budget allocated for its operation. With Minister Regev's intervention, it was agreed with the Ministry of Finance to operate the shuttle for an additional period of three months, during which an effort will be made to ensure the continued operation of the shuttle for a long period.

The shuttle service operates free of charge, Sunday through Thursday of the week for flights landing at Ben Gurion Airport until 11:00 AM, on Friday until the beginning of Shabbat and on Saturday night for flights landing after Shabbat.

The shuttle service is designed to shorten the trip to the center of the country for Eilat residents and save them the need to travel on Ben Gurion Airport's internal shuttle to Terminal 3 and reach the center of Tel Aviv directly by train.
