The Finance Minister thanked a number of sources and added: "I would like to say thank you to a dear man, Haim Bibas, who came to an agreement with us here in the room, the dialogue with him improved this law, introduced correct and good amendments to it, I understand that several strong mayors pressured it, I am not angry, Haim Bibas was a full partner in formulating the formulas that you will soon vote on, I want to say thank you to the local government team who took part in improving this law."

Following repeated pauses by opposition members, Smotrich said: "We have proven that we do not give in to bullying."

Opposition members attacked, after coalition members hugged each other after the bill was passed: "What are these hugs? Bring confetti soon. Shit of the law."
