Everything related to purchasing airline tickets has changed a lot in recent years, so before the entry of low-cost airlines into our lives, we got used to the fact that a flight ticket includes a large suitcase, a meal, choosing a seat and more, since the entry of these companies everything has changed.
As we first reported, now Israir and Arkia have announced that they will charge a fee for trolleys as well. Israir will charge a fee for those who book a flight only, those who book a vacation package will not have to add a fee for a trolley. Israir's trolley will increase from eight kilograms to ten.

It will be possible to add to the flight ticket, by advance purchase (up to 10 hours before the flight) a trolley suitcase at a cost of $ 15 per way. Purchasing a trolley suitcase at check-in at the airport will cost $20 each way. Farm: up to 10 kg and not 8 kg as it was until now. Trolley suitcase dimensions: 55*45*25 cm.
Arkia will start charging extra for passengers from July 1. This is a fee of $10 each way for those who book in advance and an additional $13 for those paying at the airport. Arkia emphasizes that it will not be possible to lift a trolley weighing more than <> kilograms, from the eighth kilogram there will be an additional charge.
An examination we conducted with El Al and Sun d'Or shows that they do not intend to charge extra for trolley luggage at this stage. In conversations with company officials, they explain that the issue is not on the agenda at all.

Many airlines already advocate this method, most of them low-cost airlines. Legacy airlines in most cases allow passengers to board the flight with trolley luggage of various weights ranging from 10-5 kilograms, while most airlines weigh 8 kilograms.
