An online celebrity who was injured during her military service and suffers from CRPS is looking for a unique technological solution that will allow her to manage her pain and share knowledge; An athlete competing in the 2024 Olympics, injured in a battle with terrorists and seeks to find a solution that will help him reach the podium; And a Protective Edge wounded man who injured his wrist, dreams of playing on PlayStation again. A new project may help them.

Today, a project to create technological solutions for IDF wounded called "Makers of Heroes" was launched, led by the Restart organization, which works to return IDF wounded to the path of life. The project spans eight months, at the end of which a technological solution will be found to the daily challenge of IDF wounded soldiers by developing the best minds: engineers, programmers, product designers, doctors, physiotherapists, etc.

These same teams converge, design and implement technological solutions that do not exist in the market for daily disabilities of IDF wounded. This year, 24 additional IDF wounded, who were wounded to varying degrees, sought to find a new product that restores the sense of capability that was cut short close to the injury. As mentioned, the annual makers, which came out this morning in the green compound in Ruppin, are taken by some of Israel's leading companies.

Noam Dadon, CEO of Restart says, "Restart works throughout the year to return IDF wounded to the path of life. This is the seventh year that we have brought together the challenges and dreams of wounded IDF soldiers and the best minds in the Israeli economy.

"The connections between the leading companies in the economy enable those injured to break through challenges that seemed impossible and create a technological solution for them. I am proud and grateful to the various partners, who come on a voluntary basis, and to the volunteers for this wonderful work to change reality, and to those wounded who dare to dream and break boundaries. I turn to other wounded IDF soldiers who want more, in career and employment, technological solutions, search for a 'restart' on Google, sign up, we are waiting for you."
